About Landsmans Books
History
Landsmans Bookshop, started in 1946, is a specialist bookshop for farmers and gardeners. Our aim is to make available, by post, by email, from our Office/Shop and our Mobile Show Unit, every currently available Book, DVD & Video dealing with farming, gardening and their allied subjects.
We offer the following services:
Find A Book Service
We not only supply the books in our catalogue and on our website, but we can also source books new and old in any genre you may need. New books can usually be supplied to the UK within 7-14 days (or longer for overseas titles). This service is not just for UK residents but also available to our overseas customers but as you may expect delivery times vary. Old or rare antique books may take longer to source but as soon as we find them you’ll get them.

A Touring Book Store
Which exhibits at all the major Agricultural and Horticultural shows throughout the year, and also visits over 40 Agricultural / Horticultural Colleges and Universities. Forthcoming dates are posted on this website (See MOBILE BOOKSHOP on the left-hand menu).

Landsmans Publications
We publish two popular gardening titles: Plant Names Simplified: Their Pronunciation, Derivation & Meaning and The World Checklist of Conifers. Trade discounts are available to Booksellers on request.
Shop & Office
Although we sell mainly by mail order or from our Mobile Bookshop, visitors are very welcome to browse in our book room. We do suggest, however, that you contact us first if making a long journey to the bookshop, as sometimes our stock can be low if we are exhibiting at a show or college. We are open from 9.00 am - 5.00 pm Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays).

Directions
From Hereford
From the B4399 Holme Lacy Road out of Hereford, turn right into Rotherwas Industrial Estate onto Twyford Road. Take the first left into Netherwood Road, go past Pickadish Cafe on the right and take the next right into Ramsden Road. Turn immediately right into Tomhead Estate to the roundabout and first left. Unit 4c is half up on your right.
From Holme Lacy
From the B3499 Hereford Road, go over the first roundabout and past the petrol station to the next roundabout. Go first left at this second roundabout into Rotherwas Industrial Estate. At the junction turn right onto Netherwood Road and take the first left onto Ramsden Road. Turn immediately right into Tomhead Estate to the roundabout and first left. Unit 4c is half up on your right.
